About Terreno
Lisbon · founded 2026
Terreno was started by operators who spent years in venture capital, climate tech and company building, and who found the practices that kept them standing: breath, movement, honest conversation, rest. We watched teams we invested in burn out with the best intentions and the worst habits, and we watched the "wellbeing" industry fail to speak the language of the people who sign budgets.
What we believe
- A team's nervous system is a business asset. It can be trained.
- Nobody should be made to feel foolish. Everything is optional, and designed so people choose it.
- If it cannot be measured at 30 days, we do not promise it.
- The place does half the work. Portugal has the place.
Where we come from
Our founders and facilitators have run companies, raised funds, sat on boards and delivered this work with teams at Google, Meta and Breakthrough Energy, with founders across Extantia's portfolio, and through Accelerate Health, Think-it and Climate Insiders. References on request.

The team
Specialists, not generalists
Every programme is staffed from three groups. You meet the people who will be in your room before you sign.
Operators
Founders and investors who have led teams through hard years. They design the programme with your leadership and speak their language.
Practitioners
Breathwork, somatic and movement professionals with years of group work, used to rooms full of people who have never done this before.
Clinicians
Trauma-informed therapists and performance coaches for the deeper, opt-in work with leadership. Certified, supervised, discreet.
Individual bios and photos are shared on request and in every proposal.
For hotels, DMCs and event agencies
Partnerships
You win the group on rooms, rate and plenary capacity. You keep the group with what happens between the sessions. That is where we come in.
What we offer partners
- A ready-made "human layer" you can add to any RFP response, priced per head, delivered by us.
- A site-inspection module: a 20-minute taster for the client's decision makers on the day they visit.
- A no-cost pilot session at your next large group, so you can see attendance and reactions for yourself.
- Co-branded materials and a referral arrangement for groups you bring us.
Where we already work
Algarve (Albufeira, Vilamoura, Quinta do Lago), Sintra and Cascais, Ericeira, Comporta and Tróia, Douro and Alentejo, Madeira on request.
